We have organized a series of three sessions of training addressed to 30 Roma women from our Giurgiu, Mizil, and Valea Seacă communities to increase solidarity, deconstruct myths, and learn from trustworthy sources about motherhood and sexual and reproductive health.
Along with our partners from Sastipen – the Roma Center for Health Policies, we have organized health education workshops for Roma men in Valea Seacă, Mizil, and Giurgiu.
With the workshop facilitator, Ioan Petre, the men talked about sexually transmitted infections, how to protect ourselves and others, how to avoid unwanted pregnancies, family planning, and how to shoulder family decision-making.
